Heather Brown did an incredible job restoring a dirty 200 year old oil portrait that had 21 rips in it! I know it now looks as it did that long ago. The professionalism and the care she took is amazing. She photographed all of the restoration stages along the way! She also repaired the very intricate gold leaf coated frame. I am surprised the Smithsonian hasn’t recruited her already!

I presented her with a VERY challenging job: A set of 200+ year old portraits, which required a high level of expertise and historical problem solving—including correcting issues from an improper restoration that was done over a century ago!
